I know this post is long overdue. Yeah, hi there! I haven't gone off-grid or completely forgotten about this little blog of mine. It's funny when I look back to my ttc days, because I always assumed that Pregnant Me would have all the time in the world to take belly pictures (the cute chalkboard ones, no less), even take up prenatal yoga, and feed this blog along with my preggo appetite. Sadly for me, this hasn't been the case. Between our move from Florida to Texas, settling into our new home, and dealing with a few hiccups (changing my healthcare provider 4x and deciding to freebirth despite the overwhelming lack of support from just about everyone), I guess you could say that I've been preoccupied.
So, in case you've missed it on Facebook or Instagram...
That's right folks! Bennett Watson Bigley is due around Thanksgiving, and I am currently 22 weeks along. I've had the pleasure of feeling his little kicks as early as 16-17 weeks, but JJ was able to feel them for the first time tonight. There was no mistaking it! It was such a proud moment for me, and witnessing the love he has for our growing baby makes me fall in love all over again.
Also, we celebrated one whole year of married life couple weeks ago on the 12th.
For my next post, I think I need to talk about my birth plan and why we want to freebirth. Honestly, there are so many reasons why. I wouldn't know where to start...
At the end of each day, I am just so freaking thankful that JJ continues to support me unconditionally. He's already a great papa bear — protective over his family and incredibly loving each step of the way — making me and Bennett insanely proud of how far we've come as a family.
Love,
Mamabear
